RAD Ballet

Ballet is the foundation for all styles of dance. Our classes follow the Royal Academy of Dance syllabi. Ballet technique helps to improve posture, balance and co-ordination as well as building physical strength and classical ballet technique. It also develops self-discipline, poise and grace as well as building self-confidence. Classes start at Pre-Primary running through to vocational level.

Stretch & Strength

A class open to all students 8 years + focusing on building strength and stamina through pilates based exercises combined with the Alixa Flexibility syllabus.

What is Alixa Flexibility?

A syllabus to encourage safe, smart stretching with guaranteed progression, The Alixa Flexibility syllabus has been carefully developed over 22 years with research consultation from experts in physiotherapy, sports medicine, massage therapy, rehabilitation, kinesiology and neurology.

ISTD Tap

ISTD Tap classes encourage students to have fun exploring different intricate rhythms whilst developing excellent coordination and learning a wide vocabulary of steps.  As they progress, students develop their style with more emphasis on speed of footwork, syncopation, improvisation and stage presence.  ISTD Tap Examinations start at Primary running through to Vocational levels. 

ISTD Modern

ISTD Modern is a technical and theatrical form of dance. This is a fun, energetic class which incorporates lots of different styles including Lyrical, Contemporary, Jazz and Musical Theatre.

Modern Dance encourages freedom of expression giving students the opportunity to be creative with choreography. ISTD Modern Examinations start at Grade 1 running through to Vocational levels.
